Angelique "Heaven&Safety" - Featured Artist
Born and raised in a small town just east of Toronto, Angélique has always been one to challenge the norm and exceed expectations. She’s no rookie to the performance world, coming from an arts highschool where she often dared to take the stage while touring with classmates. Her schooling took her to many stages in cities like Toronto, Boston, and New York; adding the Berklee Performance Theatre, Roy Thomson Hall, and even the EPIC Apollo Theatre to her resume.
Now, in her early 20s, Angélique has embarked on a solo singing career. Her writing style shares the same mysterious cadence heard in early sounds of SZA and Jorja Smith. With her debut single, “Just You,” released December 2018, she reminds us that we don’t need to be anything other then our authentic selves in order to be loved. Angélique has a passion for the shared human experience, and bares her soul on every track in hopes of offering support to others who may be experiencing something similar. Her 2019 single, “Wings” was well-received landing her features on Alt Revue, Vents Magazine, and more.
