Coming to life via the northernmost metropolis in North America this doleful selection serves as the band’s proper introduction to the world. Downtown Apartment holds the listener gently, with an effortlessly intimate touch while stepping into the sparkling ‘Fender Rhodes’, deep snare hits and swirling synths, until a comfortable sway slowly says goodbye.

Perpetuals are a neo-soul project based out of Edmonton, Alberta. The group was drawn together from an affinity for minimalism and traditional songwriting, with the role of songwriter constantly shifting between the individual members. With a dark, concealed temperament, Perpetuals strive to create music that pushes their audience into new territories.
