SomeKinda R&B Festival, Canada's only festival dedicated to R&B arrives in St. Catharines on August 30th-31st

Canada has produced and hosted some of the most celebrated R&B voices in the world and has housed some of the most unforgettable R&B parties, but until now, there’s never been a festival that puts the genre front and centre. The launch of SomeKinda R&B Festival, a first-of-its-kind, two-day celebration of rhythm and blues landing at St. Catharines' Montebello Park on August 30–31, 2025 aims to change all of that. This is the staycation Canadian music audiences need, a perfect end-of-summer escape blending smooth vocals, deep grooves, local wine trails, and unforgettable music and cultural vibes in the heart of the Niagara Region.
SomeKinda R&B Festival is where the new and next generation of buzzing American and Canadian R&B stars meet. This inaugural edition is headlined by GRAMMY Award-winning singer Muni Long and platinum recording artist Jacquees on Day 1. Genre-defying superstar Mariah the Scientist and double threat talent Kiana Ledé perform on Day 2, while this new festival proudly puts Canada’s rising R&B talent on full display, with performances by Aqyila, FRVRFRIDAY, TheHonestGuy and many more. The vibes flow across two stages, including a second stage takeover by some of your favourite cultural curators like Somebody Anybody, DJ Killa Kels, and Tay-Jean.
